Pipe Dreams

We all know that “Life is a Highway" and you might like to “Get your Kicks on Route 66”, but you could be on the “Highway to Hell.” Nah! You’re on State Highway 4, and headed to Wanganui. Before you get there, stop off, stretch your legs and pick up this cache.

 It would be our dream to own a property like the one across the road with a view above the river. Just far enough out of town, the main road at your back and fishing on your front doorstep – what more could you want?! A Pipe Dream maybe?

The Cache is not your regular container, is well camo’d, and you will need to follow a hint once you get to the first part. Tool is removable but DO NOT remove cache container or any other cache component. The Tool is the only removable element. Please replace when done. The ground is uneven in places with hidden holes, and there is some cutty grass and prickly bushes so take care, but if you take your time and pick your way carefully its quite safe. BEWARE OF THE DROP TO THE RIVER. Please bring your own pen.

Parking: safe parking at the co-ords listed. Care needs to be taken crossing the road if southbound to get access to the offroad parking
Activity: not a high muggle area at GZ but keep an eye out
Dog Friendly: alright for taking Fido for a ride in the car, otherwise NO.
Stroller Friendly: nowhere to stroll to really
Wheelchair Friendly: no
Kids: even though the cache is well off the road, due to the high speed of traffic going past, have a firm hand on the kids. Not really suitable for a run-around
