The boys love to go creeking and this simple creek with its rocky bottom on a quiet road is Cub Scout playground.
To protect the little ones from falling I place the GZ at the safe entrance to the trolls lair. There is a 'Wreck It Ralph' Swag bag for the FKTF. We keep swag bags in both cars just in case.
Tell the little ones to watch out for the troll and when you see him yell "there he is!!" (OK so it's a chalk drawing my 5 year old drew on the wall that will get washed away after the next storm)
That brings me to my next point WARNING
Normaly you can stay dry, the water is a few inches deep and youre biggest danger is a wet kid if they fall in. But after a heavy rain or spring snow melt youre talking maybe 6 FEET of moving water and the cache is unreachable.
