Like the first version of this one, this was a bit of a spur of the moment decision.
A camoed film canister.
In November of 2009 the construction site fence went up around this area with the plans to convert it into a greenspace. A cache was placed to await the arrival of the completed project. The other week the last of that fence was removed, and with it the cache. I went by to scope out a new site for the cache and just decided that there should really be a new one to commemorate the arrival of usable space for the neighbourhood.
Since it will be Christmas this month I decided to move away from the fence hide and switch it to a spruce tree hide. Merry Christmas!
Because I would like this one to remain winter friendly, please replace it at least thigh height.
There is parking right at GZ.
I did not really plan this, so I did not make an FTF certificate, but I can email one to the honoured cacher.
