Geocache Description:


The Georgia Geo-Campers will be camping at Tugaloo State Park the weekend of August 17th. Some camping geocachers will be arriving on the 16th to take full advantage of all the *caching and exploring the park.

The park has 113 campsites, 20 cottages, 1 pioneer camp, and 5 back country campsites. To make Reservations.

6:30 PM at the posted coordinates, Parks interactive programs will commence. Everyone is invited to attend. Parks interactive activities include:

6:30 pm Snake ID (Nature Hut)
7:30 pm Nocturnal Animal Program
8:30 pm Night Hike
9:30 pm Bonfire and s'mores
** Trackable drawing

Please "will attend" with numbers in your group ASAP so parks can properly prepare a fun filled evening of night activities for us.

Parks will have their new Geo-Camping program where geo-campers can be rewarded free camping at any state park.

There is a $5 gate fee if you don't have an annual park pass to enter the State Park.
