Urban Sprawl Traditional Cache

Knagur Green: Cache has been missing more than a year. Due to no response from the CO after the request to maintain or replace the cache, I am archiving it to, stop it showing on the listings and/or to create place for the geocaching community.

The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported. Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center

If the CO feels that this cache has been archived in error please feel free to contact me via email quoting the GC number concerned

Geocache Description:

A suburban intersection that might get a major upgrade soon..........

The Upper Highway area of Ethekwini (Kloof, Hillcrest, Everton, Winston Park) has expanded rapidly in recent years.  Traffic congestion continues to increase with limited arterial roads down to Durban and the N2 corridor.  Kassier Road, Stockville Road, M13 and New Germany surface roads are the only options.

There are rumours in the area that a major road is being planned from this cache location, down the Stockville valley, to the N3.  Some home owners might lose out, but it would help the traffic.
