This is a micro planted close to the platform of Windy Arbour Luas Station (Na Glasáin). You may need to wait until the tram passengers have left the station before finding...Bring your own pen! Please use ultimate stealth and re-hide the cache where you found it, to ensure that commuting muggles don’t discover it!
LUAS is a state of the art light rail transit system serving the greater Dublin area. Veolia Transdev Ireland operate Luas on behalf of Railway Procurement Agency, the authority responsible for the procurement of railway infrastructure systems in a public - private partnership. The idea for a new tram or light rail system for the city of Dublin was first suggested in 1994, by a Dublin Transportation Initiative (DTI) report, which referenced the original Dublin tramways, once running over 60 kilometres (37 mi)and reaching most parts of the city. Construction finished in February 2004 and a period of testing and driver training began. 30 June 2004 was decided on as the official launch date of the Green Line. The first tram went into service for the general public at 3 p.m. Several days of free ridership and a family fun weekend took place to launch the system. The Red Line opened on 26 September 2004, with six days of free travel for the general public. To date, the busiest day on the LUAS system was Friday, 21 December 2007 when 145,000 passenger journeys were recorded. The LUAS had 25.4m passengers in 2009. . Like many Luas stations, this is easiest visited by Luas. Parking is available (paid) on Saint Columbanus Road and estates between Dundrum Road and the Luas station. You could park at Ryan's pub and walk or enter St. Columbanus Road from the Dundrum Road side...walk past Our Lady's National School to reach the Luas station
