Geocache Description:

The cache is a regular size container located off Devil's Gap Trail which is located 7km west of Gravenhurst.

Local folklore says that a farmer was travelling with his wagon and team of oxen along the old colonization road. They became stuck and he went for help after many attempts to free the wagon and oxen. When he came back, the wagon and oxen were nowhere to be found. Since then, the gap in the rock has been known as Devil's Gap.

Enjoy your hike. There will be many opportunities for the chance to see some wildlife.
