Geocache Description:

The Fruit Loop Trail is a 26km geocaching circuit with a multiple caches which you should be able to find in a few hours. You could complete the circuit on your mountain bike or in a 2WD vehicle on reasonable country dirt roads; extra care may be required in a few places. There is no particular start or end point; it is a true circuit so you will finish back where you started from. The caches are NOT all the same size or style, most will be easy finds but some offer more of a challenge.

The Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus) is a scrambling vine believed to have originated in southern Africa but has long been in cultivation even in ancient Egypt.
Watermelons are a good source of Vitamins A & C, potassium, iron and lycopene. The rind, although not very appealing fresh, is edible and is often cooked in stir frys and other asian dishes to unlock its many hidden nutrients.
Watermelon is widely grown throughout warmer climates with China being the worlds biggest producer. The Northern Territory and Queensland are the major Australian growing areas, the town of Chinchilla in Queensland holds the annual Melon Festival in February.
