Geocache Description:

Well I am a Ford fan and OK so the Holden's have dominated the season once again on the track.! So this cache will take you a very old car we found while out in the bush. Its a Ford Zephyr mid 50's. I think? Being my first Bush cache I just could not resist hiding a cache here.

Car Info: The Ford Zephyr was a car manufactured by the Ford Motor Company in the United Kingdom. Between 1951 and 1972, it was sold as a more powerful six-cylinder saloon to complement the four-cylinder Ford Consul. From 1962 the Zephyr itself was offered in both four- and six-cylinder versions. Cache info: You can park at either end of the walking track, Wellgate is the closer of the two entry's and you will need to head towards the WP1 "The vent pipe" If you come in from Withers road you may walk past a Holden Kingswood. Its on the old track heading down to the creek. From the vent pipe you will find the track down to the creek. We suggest you use this way as it is the easy way to cross the creek. Once across the creek follow your GPS down the track heading back towards Withers Rd. There you may find a signal to the way into the bush once in the bush you are close when you see the very big old dying tree. The bush is not that dense but there is little or no track. We have spotted Rabbits and seen evidence's of other types of animals in the area BUT......Be warned this is snake country. But on the other hand its Ford Country. I have tried to find the Year of this old girl so a Prize will be sent out to the person who can identify the year. This Cache is stocked with new and different goodies so please only take what you need. There is something for every one Including a FTF Trophy. Enjoy, Steveishere ***************Congrats to Alfyboy again for FTF*************
