A cache placed in beautiful surrondings, fantastic views, a warm sandy beach close by with a good local restaurant a stones throw away - where else would you want to be?! PLEASE NOTE: There is a charge to enter Pigeon Point - but well worth it.
We fell in love with this wonderful Island and in particular this interesting area which we visited whilst on the hunt for two caches not too far away.
Before leaving the UK we were quite dissappointed at the lack of caches - luckily did didn't put us off booking our holiday! On the off chance we brought a small cache with us and when we found this spot it was calling out for a cache. Luckily we had been corresponding with a local cacher and he has very kindly agreed to keep an eye on this cache for us. (caribcacher - owner of GC3MQWD) Our suggestion would be to do cache GC3MQWD, followed by a hike (!) to GC39E8 - where you can cool off in the warm sea and have a wonderful snack and drink very close to this cache. The owner of the resturant has given us her permission to place the cache where it is located.
This is a wonderful spot - we do hope you enjoy it. PLEASE NOTE: You can get a Taxi to Pigeon Point - but also a bus. We caught a 1A from Choc Beach that goes to Gros IIlet, but we asked the driver to take us to the car park at Pigeon Point which he was happy to do for just a few $ extra. Apparently most bus drivers will be happy to do this.
