This is a 35mm film cannister with a log only.
We were hiking through Butter Pot Park and picking up a few caches. Hurricane Leslie had done a fair bit of damage in the park. Tree fall was seen thoughout the entire park. Most of the trails and the camping areas have been cleaned up. You can only imagine the force of hurricane winds, especially when you see trees that were snapped off near the base of the trunk of the tree. There is one such tree along the side of the road on the way to the camp site. I placed a 35mm film cannister in the broken tree trunk. It should be easy to access. Enjoy a hike in the park. Please place the cache back in the same location.
