Geocache Description:

This is a short multi-cache set up by my 11 year old stepson Ryan. The stages can be walked in about 10 minutes or so and all points can be driven to.

This cache has been set up by Ryan, hence the name Ryan's cache... This is a cache based in the Hainault area, which surprisingly is not exactly flush with caches apart from Hainault Forest and Fairlop Waters.

There are 3 stages to this multi cache, the first two need to be visited to find information and at the third there is an actual cache to be found. Please bring a pen or pencil to sign the log.

All 3 of these locations mean something to Ryan which is why we have chosen these points. This is also our first attempt at a multi cache.

Please head to the first initial location located at the coordinates shown for this cache. This is a location close to one of the entrances of Penrith Park and near to John Bramston Primary school which was where Ryan went to school. Please note at no time do you need to go on school premises or through any gates that lead into the school. The school is just closeby. Here you will find a sign for the Park Watch Incident Hot Line and this is the number you need - 020 ABCD EFGH.

The second stage of this cache can be found at N51 3(A-2).(B-5)(C+1)(D-1)   E000 0(Ex2).(F+1)(G-8)(H-1)

At this location which is also near Penrith Park, which if you haven't been there is well worth a visit and along with Fairlop Waters is where we spend time in the Summer. At this location you are looking for two numbers which will be I and J. You need these to work out the final cache which is located as follows:

N51 E(I+H). EE(I-J)   E000 0H.(I+D)(J+2)(B-I-J)

The cache is hidden away closeby to where we live and contains just a logbook. Please bring a pen or pencil to log your visit. Ryan would be very interested to hear what you think of his cache so any full logs would be gratefully received.

For more information on Penrith Park (aka Hainault Recreation Ground) please go to:

http://www2.redbridge.gov.uk/cms/leisure_and_libraries/leisure/parks_and_open_spaces/list_of_parks_and_open_spaces-/hainault_recreation_ground.aspx

The park is open until Dusk each night, however you do not actually need to go into the park to do any of this cache.
