Tadburn Meadows is a local nature reserve, through which Tadburn Lake flows. At ground zero you may question these names, as you stand in a wet woodland near a river...
Most avid geocachers love to place a cache outside their house. This one is near enough to my home that it now means that my entire street falls foul of the proximity guidelines - yet it's a genuine T4 D1 in a beautiful location.
You are looking for a screw lid tub tub, which contains a couple of magnets which should help the cache stay put if the weather does it's worse. Please leave these in the cache and use them to secure the tub. There is just about room for a travel bug or a few coins, but this is not recommended as in the summer there is a muggle risk, and the river has been known to burst it's banks in the winter - the week before its placement in fact. Hunting this cache is not recommended after heavy rains as you may need a submarine.
Thanks to Test Valley Borough Council for permission. Whilst you are here, check out Ariadne's Thread, which takes you on a tour of the meadows.
From many directions GZ is wheelchair accessible, however the cache is not. Beware of being muggled by dog walkers and cyclists.
