The third of four caches placed with permission in this particular area. This cache is so named as a play on the CO’s name and is the springboard for the “Heart T” TB to start its travels. We trust that many TBs and GCs will pass through this little treasure chest. Also the container is large enough to carry quality SWAG “from the heart”. The setting is peaceful and tranquil; it can only be a hearty cache.
The cache is one of a quartet placed in a little known conservancy area in the ‘Mink & Manure” region of the Upper Highway area. Although there is a trail, a warning must be given that is mostly used by the equestrian and pedal power community, rather than hikers. So whilst you enjoy the natural surrounds, be alert that you are not trampled or ridden over or into, by a horse or mountain bike. The chances however of that happening are very slim, due to the undulation and twisty nature of the trail, as well as its gradient. So enjoy the outing without fear. There is evidence of duiker and reedbuck, and a sighting of either of these rather timid creatures would be a bonus. Certainly those who enjoy birding should not be disappointed as there are many varieties to be heard and seen.

Open your mind and HEART, and ENJOY the countryside and this Hearty setting.
