Geocache Description:

PROUD MEMBER OF GEOCACHINGMAINE.ORG

I was in the process of moving a potential cache in the Brown Woods away from an existing cache when I stumbled upon a pretty little pond with ducks swimming around along with what looks like a working quarry. Who knew that there was a quarry in the middle of Bangor, ME? I know that I didn't. I have a feeling, though, that it's a pretty popular spot with the local teenagers as 3 of them came walking up to this spot minutes after I placed the cache.
The cache is out in the open and may be somewhat difficult for the vertically challenged cacher. Please be very, very careful walking on the exposed rock especially in the Winter time. If possible, CITO while you're there. This place could use a little help. While you're in the Brown Woods, you might want to go for my other caches here: Where were you when Roberts stole second?, Do you want to play ball again?, It's a long fly ball.... and the Son of Brown Woods cache.
