Doing this cache will take you into land that is healing after being strip mined. When the mine stripped this area they tried to get approval to dig up this cemetery & relocate it. They lost the legal struggle.
This cache is a lock & lock that is on the outer edge of Brainer Cemetery. I haven't been able to find out much other then the marker that states that it's Brainer Cemetery. It also summarizes up the cemetery by stating "In Memory Of Civil War Veterans & Families. EST 1857". I found very few pieces of headstones & none were legible. If you look at this location via satellite you'd never know that there was a cemetery here. It appears that there has been a major cleanup here.
