Cache is close to the North branch of Clair Creek that once was the drainage basin for the surrounding rolling agricultural land. However, new developments in the area have now reduced it to an urban creek draining small flood control basins.
Depending on your approach you may have to cross the creek. There are some large landscaping rocks that cross the creek closer to the cache at N 43° 27.613 W 080° 35.590 or you can use the foot bridge further down at N 43° 27.627 W 080° 35.493 if water levels are too high for the rocks. If you choose the rocks be careful as there is a drop down to the creek and it gets very slippery when wet.
Here are your warnings........
Summer - Beware of mosquitoes!
Fall - Beware of slippery trails and beautiful colours!
Winter - After a fresh snow beware of getting lost!
Spring - Beware of slippery trails and Trilliums!
