Geocache Description:

This is a multi stage geocache that will require you to visit two trails in Lynde Shores Conservation Area.


You are going to be walking on the two trails in Lynde Shores, LeVay's Lane, and the Bird Feeder trail.  You can either take the long way around the trails which will give you a nice hike and an opportunity to get the other caches in the area, or take the short route.  Either way you are in for a treat as there is plenty of wild life you might be lucky to spot.  Remember to bring bird seed and you can hand feed the Chickadee's, and watch for Purple Martins in the spring along LeVay's lane. I recently spotted and took some wonderful photo's of a Barr owl along Halls Rd, which forms the western border of Lynde Marsh.

Remember to stay on the trails as  the road that runs to the lake is a private road for residents who live along the lakeshore.  Also dogs are not allowed in Lynde Shores as this Conservation Area is a sensitive bird area.

At the posted coordinates you will find the first stage for this multi cache.  You are looking for a small bison tube with the north coordinates for the final.  

At the second redirect look for a plaque dedicated to Ann Cunningham/Cain.  Note the year Ann died and take the last three numbers in that year.    Add 8 to that number to get AAA.  

For example, if her year of death was 2012 then you take 012 + 8 = AAA
The west coordinate is W 78 57.AAA You can do the stages in any order. Enjoy your walk in Lynde Shores and remember to bring some bird seed for the birds.
