Geocache Description:

A continuation of a series of caches which will involve a walk along the Worcester/Birmingham canal,  taking the walker on a journey to the River Severn. This cache remembers my daughters cat - Jet, who was brother of Ebony (guess what colour they were) Ebony was with us for 19 years - her cache is to be found on the Malvern hills. Jet was with us only a few years but is still remembered

The Worcester and Birmingham Canal is a canal linking Birmingham and Worcester in England. It starts in Worcester, as an 'offshoot' of the River Severn (just after the river lock) and ends in Gas Street Basin in Birmingham. It is 29 miles (47 km) long. There are 58 locks in total on the canal, including the 30 Tardebigge Locks, one of the largest lock flights in Europe. The canal climbs 428 feet (130 m) from Worcester to Birmingham.
This canal is popular with walkers and cyclists and is well worth the effort. Maybe not the whole length! But the walk from the cache location to the River Severn does take in several points of interest such as The Commandery, the site of the Worcester Porcelain works and the Cathedral.

Again this could be classed as a cache and dash, but there is more of a walk through the Diglis basin. This cache marks the end of the walk - (or the start of the walk) - where the canal meets the River Severn.

The most difficult of the series - a tricky to find magnetic micro
