Just another micro in a pleasant area on the Erie Canal. While there is parking right by the cache, this is a very good departure point for walks and bicycle rides along the canal. If you have not been here before, you may want to take the time to explore this canal village. The canal tow path is closed between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, so please be aware of that. We would like to thank Spoon Gouge and Bad Smoothie for creating Micro Palooza--the source of this cache container.
At the end of last month, Gadget CHC, A and I finally found GC1J6MW Micro Palooza--a most impressive cache that contributed to our excellent hike in Abrahama Lincoln Park. (This was our third try for this one--and we finally got it). I took two paloozas from the still extensive collection. A and I decided to place the first one in home territory, so to speak, the Erie Canal in Spencerport--and I will call this one Spencer Palooza (following the Palooza convention). This is not a difficult cache but it may not be entirely winter friendly. It also can be considered a gateway to one of my series of Erie Canal song caches.
