Una mystery cache per una piazza misteriosa!
A mystery cache for a mystery square!



Piazza dell'Isola era l'antico nome con cui si chiamava l'attuale Piazza Matteotti, cuore culturale della città dove si affacciano il Museo di Palazzo Chiericati e il Teatro Olimpico, entrambi progettati da Palladio.
Il nome Isola deriva probabilmente dal fatto che l'attuale piazza era, in tempi antichi, un campo compreso tra l'antica cinta muraria alto medievale e il fiume Bacchiglione. Col passare dei secoli la città si ingrandì, l'antica cinta muraria fu abbattuta e in corrispondenza vi furono costruiti edifici come Palazzo Chiericati, quindi la successiva cinta muraria del XIII secolo fu costruita in corrispondenza della riva del Bacchiglione.

Per trovare le coordinate finali dovrete risolvere il sudoku e sostituire i numeri trovati alle lettere rosse:

La cache è un piccolo contenitore che contiene solo il logbook e piccoli oggetti, quindi ricordatevi di portare una penna!




Piazza dell'Isola was the ancient name of the current Piazza Matteotti, the cultural heart of the city, where you can find the Museum of Palazzo Chiericati and the Teatro Olimpico, both designed by Palladio. The name Isola (Island) probably comes from the fact that the present square was, in ancient times, a field between the Middle Ages city walls and the river Bacchiglione. Over the centuries, when the city expanded, the ancient city walls were torn down and buildings were built in its place such as Palazzo Chiericati, and the new city walls of the thirteenth century were built on the shores of the Bacchiglione.

In order to find the final coordinates you must solve the sudoku and replace the red letters with the corresponding numbers:
