Cache is NOT located at the posted co-ordinates. To find the cache you will need to solve a puzzle and be able to project a waypoint. A bear and it's cub have been spotted in this area, so take appropriate precautions when searching.
I went back to school recently and have been brushing up on my math skills. I got 99% on the test for the geometry unit, so I figured that I know my material well enough to use it to hide a cache. Let's see how well you know your geometry, too. For you folks who don't like to solve puzzles or do math, I saved up some money and put some incentive into the cache just for you: There is a Staples $10 gift card for the FTF and a $5 gift card for the STF.
To find the cache, first you must divide the following North and West numbers by the number of sides in a regular dodecagon:
N: 58055544
W: 148049340
That was easy. Now it gets a little harder. The final result will take you to a large metal isocoles trapezoid that has been painted yellow. While standing at the center of the trapezoid, you will need to project a waypoint of a distance of _____ metres, which is the same length of the hypotenuse of a right angle triangle that has one side of 138 metres and another side of 80 metres (you will need to round your answer up).
To find the degree of projection, you will need to add together the internal angle of one angle of a regular triskaidecagon, the external angle of one angle of a regular octagon, and the external angle of one angle of a regular heptacontagon (ignore all decimals when adding). Be sure that your GPS is set to True North when making the projection.
If you are unsure of your geometry, feel free to contact me to check your answers.
