Geocache Description:

Who did the dirty deed?  Was it the doctor?  How about the nurse?  Maybe the maid?  It's time for you to put your detective cap on and use your sleuthing/geocaching skills to find the culprit.!

Thanks to Janlea, cachers in Florida, who provided us with the idea of doing this series. We had so much fun that we decided Texas cachers should have the chance to be detectives, too!

This series is based on the old board game Whodunit.  There are 10 caches altogether.  When you find this cache, Cache #1, you will retrieve your game card (please take only one and leave the rest for others).  Your game sheet will list possible suspects, weapons, motives and scenes.  Information gathered at Caches 2-9 will enable you to rule out a characteristic of one of the suspects, weapons, motives and scenes.  There will be a clue written at the top of each log.  For instance, at one location you might find out that the murder weapon was not wooden.  At each location, you will get another piece of information.  You will be trying to eliminate items to narrow down to the ones that you want.  After finding the last of the 9 (the caches can be done in any order), you should have enough information to identify who did it, how, why, and where.  Use the numbers listed next to the guilty suspect, weapon used, scene of crime, and motive.  That information will lead you to Cache #10: Grab Your Suspect.

Cache titles for #1-9 have more to do with the location of each particular cache than the game itself.  This cache is a medium sized lock and lock containing the Whodunit game sheets and a log book. Please take just one sheet. Tree cover might affect your coordinates.  We don't encourage a lot of swag here since there is limited room with the sheets enclosed in the container.
