Welcome to Northern Ontario - Elliot Lake turnoff!
We're from SSM in the cold north of Ontario and we travel to and from southern Ontario fairly often. While we're driving, we usually stop in a few different towns and areas along the highway for gas or treats or bathroom breaks, so we figured we'd hide a cache in each of these areas near the welcome signs or the signs stating the name and the population etc.
This container is a cammo'd plastic jar about the size of a peanut butter jar. If you are heading towards Sault Ste Marie, you can turn right off the highway and head into a park and ride area to park. When you are finished with this one and if you are travelling north, you can pick up the ones in Blind River, Bruce Mines, Desbarat and Echo Bay as well. This one should be winter friendly if put back at the right height :)
