Geocache Description:

One of our favorite places to go hiking or biking is Daley Ranch in Escondido.  There are so many different trails each with it's own challenges.  We just like to hang out here.



We have placed this cache right next to the trail.  You don't need to go tromping on the vegetation.  Please place it back as you found it -- maybe even a little better?  This cache is just hanging around also at about eye level and an arm's length in.

We got here by parking in the dirt lot at the top of La Honda Drive and then following the Creek Crossing trail to the East Ridge trail and then finally on to Sage. Grab a map at the info kiosk if you need one.

Bring water, something to write with, and in case of an emergency a cell phone; there are dangerous critters out here and the path is anything but smooth and even.  Be sure to also bring info on the other caches along the way and in the area so you can make it a more productive hike.  And check out Frank's Daley Ranch Roundup Challenge.
