Geocache Description:

A short multi cache set at St Peter’s church, Bramshaw. Parking for a few cars is available in two lay-bys one just to the North and at the published coordinates just to the South of the church.

The Church of St Peter is situated on a fine elevated position to the North of the village of Bramshaw in the New Forest. Before 1895, the parish was divided between Wiltshire and Hampshire and so was the church, having its nave in Wiltshire and its chancel in Hampshire! I wonder if they had a line drawn on the floor?

The earliest part of the church is the west end of the nave, which is of mid-13th-century date, but the rest has been rebuilt, the transepts and tower belonging to the early part of the 19th century and the chancel and vestry being modern.

The tower contains two bells. The treble sounds interesting, being from the 13th-century, very long and tapered, with a square lip. If you are lucky enough to be there when they are ringing, please mention in your log if it has a distinctive tone!

You are just required to find a couple of clues in the churchyard to give you the location of the final micro cache.
