This used to be one of the stages of a five mile cache that Trix and I (Echo) placed in the summer of 2008 to commemorate the Summer Games. This has been turned into individual caches to entice more people to visit this section of the West Hartford Reservoir.
The original multi-cache was placed in the honor and spirit of the Summer Olympic Games. These caches are not meant to be hard, but fun and will end with a large ammo can.
On your mark, get set, and go! We hope that you enjoy this series and a few things to keep in mind:
* This is meant to be fun!
* They were all placed off of the trails, so dont do any unnecessary bushwhacking
* Please be careful with the containers as some are fragile and delicately placed
* The total hike is OVER 5 Miles, so please bring water and be prepared for a long hike
* Be aware of muggles, bikers and poison ivy!
