Making Tracks- Lees Grove Track (Wellington) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

robnzh: I am unable for several reasons to get to this cache to replace the log or maintain it and can't remove it either so if anyone happens to be passing I would be grateful if you could do so.
As there are other caches on this track now I don't feel so bad about archiving this one which has served its time well.
Thanks to all who have visited.

Geocache Description:

A cache part of the way up Lees Grove Track which eventually leads to the top of Mt Lowry where there is also a cache.

The cache is a 200 ml Sistema container and is planted at a spot where the gradient starts to increase  as it heads towards the Mount Lowry summit.  Do not be scared by the description in the link, if like me you are not keen on 60 percent gradient, you can do this cache from Lees Grove end and return the same way, which only requires a reasonable standard of fitness.

GPS reception can be unstable here so feel free to use the hint. The track can be slippery in places so wear suitable footwear and take care!
