CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES! READ ON
Cache is located in Mills Norrie State Park, just one of the many beautiful state parks run by the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. The park has a marina, campground and hiking trails, many with magnificent views of the Hudson River.
Adjoining the park is the Staatsburg State Historic Site, a great estate overlooking the Hudson River and built during America's Gilded Age.
To reach the cache, do the following:
1) Take the marked trail to the posted coordinates(use either trailhead provided). You will find yourself at the intersection of the trail and a stone wall.
2)Walk along the stone wall in an easterly direction for 270'.
3)Walk at a right angle from the wall, in a southerly direction, for 120'.
4) Start Looking
Please park at the coordinates provided or any other parking area in the park, and not along park roads.
