This cache series has been set up to remind people that even lonely two lane roads through a State Park can be dangerous. The caches are set up at various crash sites throughout the Park, most of which are wounded trees. Please approach these caches at your own risk, with the clear knowledge that each of these places have been involved in accidents at least once.
If you look up the hill from here, you will see the house that the Park's former Superintendent, Mr. Hughe Branyon, use to live in. He used to talk about how quiet the house was. He said you couldn't hear any outside noise on the inside, unless someone hit one of the trees. This cache could take a while. How can something hide so well in plain sight?

Single Car Accident, one life flighted, one transported by ambulance.

Life Flight landing at the Golf Course after an accident.

Two car accident. One life flighted, four transported by ambulance.

Waterville Curve. We get lots of wrecks here.

That's okay, we wanted a new power pole here.
I hope you have enjoyed all the geocaches we have placed in Gulf State Park, along with the rest of your experience here Please consider giving us some feedback here. We would appreciate it if you would include something about your geocaching experience. We hope to show the bosses in Montgomery how many people geocache, in hopes that they will encourage other Parks to invest in it like we have, here at Gulf State Park. Thanks, Dothenumbers.
