Geocache Description:

This cache resides at the site of the second centralized school in the community, Ryan Memorial Jerome Special School, or Jerome Special, built in 1911 and demolished in 1984.

The carved limestone sign that was salvaged from the building when it was torn down sits at the entrance.  The school was a beautiful state-of-the-art brick building named for its benefactor and major contributor, Samuel Ryan, a bachelor who died at the age of 60.  He left his estate of 140 acres to the Jerome school district for the “improvement of educational matters”.  Mr. Samuel was AWESOME!
This container shouldn't be too difficult to find based on the coordinates.  Please be sure to seal up well & replace as found.  Joy to you & Joy to the world!  =)
