This cache is a short country drive (including about 2km of gravel road) to a fantastic spot with panoramic views of the Manawatu plains and beyond.
I've been meaning to put a cache up here for a while and getting my 500th find was apparently just the kick in the pants I needed.
The cache itself is a larger 2L blacked out Sistema container with room for swaps and a couple of goodies to start you off. For a laugh there is also a cheap pair of binoculars in the cache but I doubt they'll help you see much.
The easiest way to approach this cache is by continuing just past the cache to an easy turning area, and then park near the cache on the way down - there seems to be a fairly solid spot for putting the car here but no promises - so take due care!
