Wishbone Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Nomex: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

One of our favorite places is the North Coast, and it doesn't get any better than the Mendo-Ft. Bragg area. Been coming for dozens of years, and finally memorialized it with a cache. This cache is between the paved Old Haul Road/Ten Mile Trail, and the path along the shore bluff, with great views. Enjoy the moment for us.

Cammo tape over a sports drink plastic jar. 12/20/15: The wishbone should be in view if you stand a few yards north of the cache site and look to the west. Originally we put the cache in the wishbone shape, hence the name. But animals of all species (including maybe the party type) seemed to get into it, so it's in a safer and drier place. You can see the haul road in view if you look to the east.
