Geocache Description:

Hills Picnic Spot # 2

This a simple traditional cache and the second in an occasional series. There is a resurging interest in old fashioned past times such as picnics.

This series gives you a chance to find your old picnic rug, boil up a Thermos, grab a packet of TimTams and head for the hills. After finding the cache take a little time to enjoy the view and lay on your rug! My Christmas present to you.

The Adelaide Hills are a beautiful place. I have lived in the Hills all my life as has my family for generations before me. I am using my local knowledge to build up this series.

This picnic spot has been chosen for it's great views into the Summertown Valley and Uradlia while overlooking vineyards. Walking around will afford views in other directions too. A short walk down hill you will find evidence of little people enjoying picnicing here too!
