Geocache Description:

"Paul McCartney & Wings - With A Little Luck"

This song was written by Paul McCartney during the time his wife, Linda McCartney, was expecting a child. Her pregnancy put Wings on hold for a while and this song is a tribute to this era in their lives.
The song was written by McCartney in Scotland and recorded on board the boat Fair Carol in the Virgin Islands prior to the departure of lead guitarist Jimmy McCulloch and drummer Joe English from Wings. The song was released in March 1978, and hit number one in the United States later that spring. It also reached #5 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart and it reached #5 in the UK.
Author Chris Ingham praised the song as one of the best on the album, stating it was "full of the most sensitive pop synthesizer touches." Author Tim Riley considers it a "musically lame" attempt to recapture the optimism of Beatles' tracks like "We Can Work It Out," "Getting Better" and "Fixing a Hole."
