Geocache Description:

Nicknames for anti-aircraft guns include AA, AAA or triple-A, an abbreviation of anti-aircraft artillery, and “ack-ack" (from the World War I phonetic alphabet for AA). (From Wikipedia, the free encyclopaedia)

Yes I know, I can hear you all moaning "Not another cache on a gun"

I'm still waiting for the history on this particular piece of hardware.
All I have so far; it was built in Canada by the OTIS-FENSON Elevator Company in 1942.
The Lakes Entrance RSL brought it from the Western District of Victoria. The RSL is doing a little bit of research for me. So when I get some more history I will update the description.

You will be looking for a camo eclipse container. You don’t have to climb over the gun to find it.

Congratulations for joint ****FTF**** Gonefishing078, Heares068, Thing No1, Thing No2 and Paul the Hippy
