Geocache Description:


Where the suprmarket stands now, archaeologists found a medieval beach front. Vessels would have been repaired here and maybe even some built, this would have been a very busy place with people salting and landing their catch here, there would have been a smoke house for smoking the fish and barrel making. Walk along the high street towards the town centre and you will be walking in the footsteps of a medieval passion play procession, a processional cross was actually found buried in the high street. Look for something smaller than a film pot. Tool may be needed! If you dont sign the log book dont log it online.
