Geocache Description:

This is a short distance from a major trail and should be pretty easy to find, but the trail has some steep hills and will require about 130 feet of bushwhacking to reach it.

My wife often calls me a grinch during the holidays. But I don't think I am! I love Christmas, I love the holiday spirit, and I enjoy seeing the kids' eyes light up when they unwrap a gift they were really hoping for! Each season, we try to make time to do some extra charity work and share what we have been so blessed with. I enjoy classic Christmas music. It's nice to get together with family and friends we may not see too often. I also like egg nog, molasses cookies and peppermint ice cream - YUM!

What I don't enjoy is unpacking and setting out decorations. Light strings are my nemesis. I don't care for shopping anytime throughout the year, much less during the holidays! All those little things that need to be done and other insignificant stressors just build up and probably make me seem grinchy.

So, in the spirit of the holidays, I am placing this cache with the hopes that it can be a year-round reminder of the things I love about the holidays!
