Geocache Description:

Welcome to Geocachers University, or at least its techie division, Geo-Tech U.

This is the third edition of our Winter Geoconference, designed to help you get the most out of your geocaching technology. Maybe you got a new device or tool for Christmas and want to learn some of its bells and whistles. Maybe you want to learn to use third-party software that can make your geocaching excursions more fun and fruitful with less homework. Maybe you want to expand your geocaching capabilities to be able to deal with a variety of puzzle caches. This is the conference for you, a morning dealing with helping you figure out GPSrs, computer applications, handheld/cell phone apps, etc.

Due to the great response, we're offering this sequel to our first two events, adding some things that have been requested. We'll be offering sessions on GSAK software, how to choose and use a GPS unit, geocaching with a Garmin Oregon, and this year we'll close by holding a panel discussion. We'll again hold a raffle so you can go off with some great prizes for attendees. We're happy again that we'll be able to raffle off a free license to GSAK software which will be featured in at least one of the presentations to one of our lucky attendees. We expect more soon.

The event will be held at the Delaware Valley High School on Routes 6 & 209 near Matamoras, PA. There will be plenty of parking available. Attendees should enter via the Natatorium entrance to the building (the posted coordinates will take you to that entrance), and signs will lead you to room C13 where the event will begin at 9:00am and end around 12noon. After the event raffle at the end of the program, beginning and experienced geocachers who choose to try some of our local geocaches can form up groups and maybe even try putting some new skills to the test.

The Program Booklet is available for download here! The program may still be updated as more sponsors come on board, but the program schedule and sessions are pretty much set. As you will see, we have many exciting sessions from which to choose, and many geocaching-themed prizes available in our geo-raffle. Tickets for the geo-raffle will be also be made available at mmacgown's Coffee before College event held immediately before this.
