Geocache Description:

This is my first cache hidden! The Armour House administrator has given me authorization to hide here.

This cache is located within view of the beautiful Armour House in Eastern Henrico County's Meadowview Park. The home was built between 1915 and 1918 by a gentleman named Edmund Christian. Once located nearby was the country estate of Chief Justice John Marshall (1755-1835), which was called Chickahominy Farm. The Armour family sold the home, carriage house and surrounding land to Henrico County in 1999. The county mantains the house and gardens for use to rent out for events. Also the carriage house hosts classes in creating stained glass, glass mosaics, silver jewelry and youth programs based on crafts. The video link above, over the listed coordinates, is from Henrico County Parks and Recreation and gives a great overview of the location : )

The cache is not far off the road leading to the Armour House parking lot. It consists of a camoflauged bison. This is a fairly easy hide meant to draw attention to a wonderful place.
