Geocache Description:

DAGEOcachers Spring Fever Reliever Main Event featuring "Twitterpated" Match Game. Grand Prize valued over $300. 20 new permanent caches placed for event!

The Delta Area Geocachers (DAGEO) will host the Spring Fever Reliever Main Event featuring the Match Game "Twitterpated"on Saturday, May 4th at The Michigan Department of Natural Resources Pocket Park, located on the grounds of the Upper Peninsula State Fair in Escanaba. The above coordinates will bring you to the front entrance of the building. We will meet at 5:30PM.

Flower: [about two birds fluttering around] Well! What's the matter with them?
Thumper: Why are they acting that way?
Friend Owl: Why, don't you know? They're twitterpated.
Flower, Thumper, Bambi: Twitterpated?
Friend Owl: Yes. Nearly everybody gets twitterpated in the springtime. For example: You're walking along, minding your own business. You're looking neither to the left, nor to the right, when all of a sudden you run smack into a pretty face. Woo-woo! You begin to get weak in the knees. Your head's in a whirl. And then you feel light as a feather, and before you know it, you're walking on air. And then you know what? You're knocked for a loop, and you completely lose your head!
Thumper: Gosh, that's awful.
Flower: Gee whiz.
Bambi: Terrible!
Friend Owl: And that ain't all. It could happen to anyone, so you'd better be careful.
[points at Bambi] Friend Owl: It could happen to you...
[points at Thumper] Friend Owl: ...and you, and...
[Flower looks at Owl shyly] Friend Owl: Yes, it could even happen to you!
Thumper: Well, it's not gonna happen to me.
Bambi: Me neither.
Flower: Me neither.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! The Delta Area Geocachers (DAGEO) wants to start you off on the right foot with a Pan-A-Cake Social (GC3RQ96) from 8:00-9:30am. This social will kick off the Spring Fever Reliever Twitterpated Match Game. You will be given a packet with coordinates for the 20 new caches (these will be published after the event) and game rules. All attendees will receive a bonus card for the match game. Also if you have items for the prize table at the final Spring Fever Reliever Main Event - you can drop them off here.

Then it's time to hop on out and start your caching day. Match game cards will be located in each of the 20 new caches - only 1 card from each cache allowed for each team. Envelopes must remain sealed.

Wookie Love - If you missed the Pan-A-Cake social, come get some "wookie love" at May the 4th Be With You Flash Mob (GC432KR) at the "Death Star" at 1:00pm. You can pick up coordinates for the 20 new caches here as well if you missed them earlier. Come dressed for the occasion in your *Wars garb and receive a bonus card for the match game.

Disburse in your "Love Bug" for more great caching in the Delta County Area.

Come on over for "Parking" at the Pocket Park at 5:30pm. Turn in your sealed card envelopes to reveal your matches and earn chances to win the "Bundle of Love" Grand Prize valued over $300.

Potluck meal will start at 6:30PM. Sloppy Joes and lemonade will be provided. Please bring a side dish to share.
