Norman's Christmas Present Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Phil100: As I was travelling north early this morning, I thought that I would check out this cache. Unfortunately, it was lying on the ground, not where it was supposed to be, without the means to attach it back to its rightful place on its branch overlooking the main road! I think, therefore, it is time to archive it!! [:(]

This cache was placed more as a bit of a joke than anything and I didn't expect it to last very long. In fact, it was released on the afternoon of Christmas Eve as I thought that it might have gone by Christmas morning. As it has turned out, it has "survived" for almost six months.

The cache is a bit battered, and not where it was originally, but I did leave it on the ground at the given co-ordinates - I know, it's a bit naughty not removing an archived cache!!! [:I]

So, if you are travelling north on the A696 and want to log an "archived cache", you might still find it!!!! [;)]

Geocache Description:

Norman has a bit of a dilemma! He needs to find a cache on Christmas Day to "tick a box" on his calendar but he is also travelling north to have Christmas lunch with his family. Hopefully, this cache will help to resolve his problem. It is an easy drive-by situated at a lay-by on the north-bound side of the A696.

Of course, if anyone else is passing this way I'm sure that Norman won't mind sharing his Christmas present!
