Geocache Description:

Hey fellow cachers! I don't know about you, but after the busyness of the holidays, life can be a little anti-climatic, with the early darkness and cold nights.

My sister, CvilleSeeker, also an eager geocacher, will be here visiting from Virginia. I thought it would be fun for her to meet some of you and for us all to share caching stories and compare notes, if you will, about hides and container differences from East to West. I am just planning a "re-do" of the same type of event. The time and day worked well the last time for most people, so I am going with it again. The day and time can change again, so can location, so always check each newly posted event.

I made a reservation again at "Lamppost Pizza" for a group of 40-50, to use the back team room again this time. Although we were squished the first time, it actually was fun being all together. If we're too many for the back room, we can overflow into the main room, no problem.

I always try to take into consideration those of you who may work "down below", to be able to make it home from work. I also try to make it early enough for those of you who need to make it an early night, to get the kiddos to bed, or get up for work the next day. I stay away from the weekends, because that is usually family time and when all the kids' games are played.

Let's keep it a simple hang out, eat, trade, discover, and visit again. Geocachers find PLENTY of things to talk about! I wish I was wealthy and could spring for pizza for all of you, but it will have to be a "no host" party. By all means bring friends (even of the muggle kind), spouses, kids... (wish I could bring along our geo-dogs, Cocoa and Java). Please bring all trackables you have, to trade, or to let others "discover". Most importantly, bring along all your caching adventure stories! There are plenty of caches to grab nearby, including my "GUIS" (Growing Up In Saugus) series. CacheKidz even placed one right outside for us!
