This is the first in a series of golf range caches we plan to put out. There is a golf range, par 3 course, just down the road. For those of you unfamiliar with golf, par is how many strokes, or times you hit the ball, that is the expected score on a hole to get the golf ball from the tee box into the hole. So, a par 3 course is nothing but holes that take 3 strokes to get the ball into the hole. If you shoot one under par, in this case a 2, then it is called a birdie. On a par 3 course, it is expected to shoot some birdies. Well, that is of course unless you play with the skill of me, then you are really just happy to still have your golf ball at the end of the hole because you did not hit it into the woods! For those of you not bold enough to try golf, at least you have a cache to go after. Good luck!
