Geocache Description:

Within a month of his appearance on the geocaching scene, Cytoro was on a quest to claim his first FTF smiley, but he kept on getting thwarted by those he respectfully dubbed "MGL's" (or "Miami Geocaching Legends").  I casually asked what part of town he lived in, planning to hide a cache near his haunting grounds entitled "Cytoro's First FTF", but the day I planned to hide it, he finally succeeded in beating out the MGL's to claim an FTF.  He didn't need an assist from ME to claim that coveted prize!

Today, I am finally hiding a cache in his favorite general hiding vicinity in his honor.  So, Cytoro, I ask you...as the official creator of the nomenclature, what constitutes an "MGL"?  Is it length of time at this geocaching thang?  Is it number of hides?  Number of finds?  An astoundingly good sense of humor?  (Scratch that last one...if THAT was part of the criteria, he wouldn't have been calling ME an MGL since the first time we exchanged e-mails!)

If the criterion is "Having an impact on the Miami geocaching scene" and is not dependent upon length of time at geocaching, then Cytoro can now tattoo the label upon his own forehead.  In the short length of time during which he's been geocaching, he has been quite prolific, having hidden quite a number of caches, including several that pay amazing tribute to some of the long-time and impactful geocachers in the area.  Those hides have successfully emulated the styles of those other geocaching aficionadoes and, at times, he's put a twist on their hides that even they themselves had not considered!  His hides range from ultra-easy to deviously evil, from totally safe to risk-a-broken-bone.  And he has made an impression on multiple geocachers as a very positive, gracious, grateful, helpful and resourceful person.

This tribute multi-cache, hidden as a "thank you" (hopefully on behalf of the other MGL honorees and of the other seekers of your geocaching hides) is entitled "Honorary MGL Cytoro".  I feel I cannot unilaterally dub anyone an MGL since I do not know the criteria.  So I toss it up to Cytoro and to the rest of the community. What constitutes an MGL? Cytoro, if you can create the Official MGL Checklist, you get to set the rules. And, the rest of you...chime in, too! I look forward to getting the official word that I can delete "Honorary" from the title of this cache!

About this cache: It is a two-stage microcache-based multi-cache. The first stage is at the posted coordinates and the second stage's coordinates will be within that first stage container. Reflecting Cytoro's range of hides, one of the stages is very easy and the other is harder and a bit more evil...you'll be able to figure out which is which with even the most minimal of geosenses. If you choose to use the "additional hints", note that the second half of the hint has three meanings...send a PM to me with all three meanings for extra credit!

Thanks, Cytoro! And, to all....happy holidays and Cache On!
