Geocache Description:

WE NEED TO LIMIT THIS CLASS TO THE 15 OR 16 PEOPLE WHO HAVE POSTED THEIR "WILL ATTEND" 1-15-13. GSAK 101 & 102 - This is a class for all those who would like to learn how to get more out of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).
This class is going to be taught by Matt Herald.

Saturday, February 9, 2013 - 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
(time may extend depending on class size and question and answer time)

This class is for the beginner to intermediate cacher who likes to use GSAK or would like to use it.

Matt says, "The class is a 101 and 201 combination. The first part is about how to get GSAK, open gpx files or sync with GC.com, filtering, sorting and exporting to a GPS or other device. These are the basics to use GSAK to get out and GSAK.
For the 201 part we discuss things such as backups, macros (NOT writing them, just how to get them and use them) and how to export to various mapping programs. We then move to a live demo where I will demonstrate how to use GSAK from getting the Pocket Query to loading a GPS and even exporting to a map. Then I open it up for Q&A and this part can take a while! It depends on how many questions are asked and what questions. But basically I am willing to stay and answer questions until we get kicked out."

So there you have it in a nutshell.  Come and join us for some head-scratching and noggin-knocking. Bring your laptop, your GPSr, and your questions.

Depending on the "Will Attend"s, the location may change to accomodate the numbers.
