Welcome to Starfleet Academy!
This training exercise will help you develop the skills needed for planetary exploration.
Cadets, Hilo, Hawaii was picked for this exercise because of it's population of Vulcan settlers outside the Planet Vulcan.
The Vulcan High Command has been kind enough to allow
us to conduct training among it's people, a culture that takes pride in
education and logic. The Vulcans also love to have fun and have built a complex for athletics. They are fond of the Earth games of volleyball and basketball. This is where you will find your cache. Your mission is to log and observe, Do not disrupt the delicate culture of the Vulcans. Security forces have not been alerted to this exercise,
so stealth is required. This will give you the "real feel" of actual
planetary exploration.
You will be looking for a micro-cache. Bring a writing instrument to
log your entries. This should be a quick "park and grab".
