Geocache Description:

I am placing this cache to fulfill the final requirement for my Boy Scout Geocaching Merit Badge.  I am launching a Geocaching Merit Badge geocoin in honor of this feat.  We ask that only Scout-related items be placed in the cache.  It is a small lock-and-lock. You can park near the fire hydrant for a short time without much problem. I would suggest that you not dally for too long near the GZ.
It is located near Fremont Pond.  The pond is named in honor of John C. Fremont who retired here after helping lead the American invasion of California.  The pond is owned by the Village of Sleepy Hollow.  A fellow Cub Scout a few years ago drowned in the pond.  Please take a moment to remember Julian.  He would have been a Boy Scout with me now.
