Geocache Description:

It's a small cache

What a great spot to sit and watch all the tourists and locals pass by.

The Avenue of Honour at Bacchus Marsh, Victoria is perhaps the most impressive Avenue of Honour in Australia. Three kilometres in length, with 281 elm trees, the Avenue is one of the most extensive in Australia.

Each tree has its own special significance as a memorial to the serviceman whose name it bears.

Trucks, cars, motorbikes, push bikes, runners....all sorts use this road - the Avenue of Honour.

You have a beautiful park just up the track a bit that has BBQ's, area for the kids to run around, a walking track which goes right around the market gardens.

Look in front of you and behind you and look at the lush market gardens.  Watch as the vegies and fruit grow.  Soon to be on people's dinner tables all over Australia.

As you sit and enjoy the surroundings, take a look over your right shoulder and check out the beautiful views that Bacchus Marsh has to offer.  Looking out towards the Lerdederg State Forest.

Here's a website where you can see the up and coming events that take place in this great town http://www.visitbacchusmarsh.com.au/

Hope you've also visited the other caches in this area.

Why not grab some fruit and vegies from the number of fruit stalls along the Avenue.

FTF inside the cache.

Please replace the cache as you found it for other Geocachers to enjoy.
