A wealth of Americana awaits the curious GeoTourist on the premises of the Living History Center.
The Brockway Truck Preservation Association, Inc., has a permanent and rotating collection of antique Brockway Trucks, native to Cortland and Homer, NY, along with memorabilia and historical documents pertaining to the manufacture of the trucks.
The Homeville Museum offers American and local military and railroad history collections from the Civil War era to the present. WWII veteran Ken Eaton spent more than 35 years assembling this collection of over 10,000 items. Visiting museum curators have pronounced the assemblage as “wondrous,” “unique,” and “irreplaceable.”
Tractors of Yesteryear provides permanent and rotating displays of antique tractors and agricultural equipment from the impressive collection of the Central NY Tractor Club.
In addition, the Living History Center is home to several private historical and cultural collections.
